Gathered with Christ
Welcoming all from greatest to least;
The bread of his love, the wine of his grace,
Risen on high, he dwells in this place.
The Lord of creation is here,
The kingdom of heaven is near.
Remember his life, remember his death,
Trust in his word, be filled with his breath;
Surrender yourself, count all things as loss,
Lay down your pride at the foot of the cross.
The humble heart God always hears,
In brokenness Jesus appears.
So doubt all your doubts, cry out all your tears,
Jesus rules o’er our quivering fears;
His Spirit will blow, our faith to renew,
Leading us on to all that is true.
Together we offer our prayer,
Together we rest in his care.
Christ gathers us here to share in the feast,
Welcoming all, from greatest to least;
Rejoice in the Lord, draw near to his heart,
Host at the table, Jesus takes part.
Allelu, Allelu, Allelu!
